Exploring Sustainable Design at Jia Curated Kiosks in Bali: Ahti Interiors’ Experience

On Saturday, August 17th, Ahti Interiors had the pleasure of attending the Jia Curated Kiosks (JCK) at the Bali Festival Park, an initiative by Jia. This event is a prime example of how design, craft, and culture can creatively connect communities, aligning perfectly with our mission at Ahti Interiors to integrate sustainability into every aspect of design.

Connecting with the Local Community

Since our arrival in Bali, Ahti Interiors has prioritized building strong connections within the local community. Events like JCK are vital as they provide a platform to bring people from diverse backgrounds together, all united by a shared commitment to sustainable product design. We believe that these collective efforts can lead to significant advancements in creating environmentally friendly, high-quality products.

The Venue: A Blend of Nature and Creativity

Upon arriving at the venue, we were captivated by the atmosphere. The space was a fascinating blend of nature and urban art, with graffiti covering many surfaces—a reminder of the venue's past. The old statues and Balinese sculptures scattered around added a sacred, historical touch, making the location truly unique. The transformation of this abandoned building into a vibrant space for community gathering was a testament to the power of creativity—a principle Ahti Interiors deeply values.

Showcasing Sustainable Innovation

With over 100 local and international exhibitors, the Jia Curated Kiosks event was a hub of innovation. Each exhibitor showcased unique materials and the stories behind their crafts, highlighting the importance of sustainability in today’s design world. The passion these creators have for their work was evident, not just in their products, but in the compelling narratives they shared. At Ahti Interiors, we understand the value of such stories in driving positive change and encouraging consumers to choose environmentally friendly products.

Ahti Interiors’ Commitment to Sustainability

At Ahti Interiors, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to announce that we’ve joined 1% for the Planet, committing to donate 1% of our annual sales to environmental organizations. This initiative is part of our ongoing effort to give back to the community and invest in a more sustainable future.

Looking Ahead

Our experience at Jia Curated Kiosks has inspired us to continue exploring and supporting sustainable practices in design. We look forward to participating in more events like this and, hopefully, becoming exhibitors ourselves to share Ahti Interiors’ journey and innovations with the world.
